St. Xavier’s College commenced the AY 2025–26 with the First-Year PG Orientation and Induction on 14th June 2025, welcoming the incoming postgraduates and outlining the NEP’s credit pathways, research expectations, academic integrity, assessment processes, and available student support.
The faculty-wise FY UG Orientation & Induction programmes followed on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of June 2025 (Arts, Science & Self-Financed programmes, respectively). Common modules introduced students to the College’s academic framework and campus life, including the NEP structure and internships, inclusion and anti-discrimination policies, code of integrity and anti-plagiarism, examination and assessment guidelines, student wellness and counselling, safety and discipline, opportunities through the Placement & Internship Cells, clubs and councils, language and communication support, library services and e-resources (including SWAYAM), and community engagement initiatives.
Across both PG and UG tracks, the sessions emphasised inclusion, academic rigour, experiential learning, and leadership through service. The programme equipped first-year students with clarity on expectations, awareness of support systems, and a sense of belonging to Xavier’s vibrant community.
